Lee James Brown

February 8, 1956 ~ January 13, 2025

 

 

Lee was born February 8th, 1956, in Stettler, the second child of Jim & Jean Brown. Lee passed away accidently on January 13, 2025. 

He attended Erskine School and later High School in Stettler. Lee was an astute cattleman and hardworking farmer. He lived in his great grandmother Isabella Brown’s house on her 1904 homestead his entire life.  

He leaves to mourn his loving family – wife Laura and daughters, Trish (Tim) Henderson, Jackie (Kerry) Freeman and special sidekick Katherine Heath.  Lee was especially proud of his four grandchildren – Luke and Wynne Henderson; Elliot and Abby Freeman.  He is also survived by beloved sisters Marjorie (Bob) Blacklock and Lynne Brown, brother Neil (Deneen) Brown, Aunts Gladys (Toots) Anderson, Alice Norris, Audrey (Wally) Ward, sister-in-law Ann (Les) Muhlbach, brother-in-law Bill (Brenda) Turville and Laura’s uncle Doug Johnston, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lee was predeceased by his parents and Laura’s parents Harlen & Lois Turville.

Rev Kwon, Erskine United Church, will officiate the memorial service to be held on January 23, 2025, at the Stettler Community Hall, organist Evelyn Strandquist will lead the music. The eulogy is to be given by daughters Trish & Jackie, sister Lynne and longtime friend Steve Dorran.
