May 15, 1954 ~ August 6, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raymond James Brown of Castor, Alberta announce his passing on August 6, 2024, at the age of 70 years. Raymond was born in Castor on May 15,1954 to Albert & Kay Brown and was the second eldest of six children. Raymond was raised on the family farm in the Paintearth district north of Castor where he devoted many hours to mixed farming. Later Raymond raised three wonderful boys and appreciated every minute of time that he could spend with them and their families.

Raymond is lovingly remembered by his sons: Dusty (Leisha), Colin (Kellie-Ann) and Andrew; grandchildren: Waylon, Anderson, Abigail and Richard; mother Kay; siblings: Deborah (Ken), Cathy (Fred), Angela (Ernie) and William (Tracey); two aunts, and an uncle; along with numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

Waiting for him in heaven are his father Albert; younger brother Cory; grandparents; friends and relatives.

The family would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support during these sorrowful times.
